OPPO, has recently unveiled a concept smartphone model featuring a glass body. This phone, which was previewed on the YouTube channel Creator Studio, has generated interest despite not yet being released to the market. The phone’s glass body extends to the sides as well as the front and back, creating a sleek and stylish appearance.
A new kind of smartphone made completely of glass
This concept smartphone features a glass body and a rounded design with a USB-C port, offering a glimpse into the future of phone design. While it’s unclear when such a phone will become available for purchase, it has the potential to be a major breakthrough in the industry.
Currently, the glass body does not offer the same level of durability as metal phones, and it would likely need to be used with a case for protection. However, glass technology is constantly evolving, and it’s possible that phones with glass bodies that are as strong as metal phones may become common in the future.
OPPO also showcased what could be its first-gen round-faced (and flat-screened) smartwatch, to go with its current Apple Watch-like offerings. The OEM gave no hint as to when any real-world devices based on this emerging technology might be available, however.
Find X6 lineup is on the way
The company will soon bring us the Find X6 series. So will this series use an all-glass body? This is out of the question for now. Find X6, which we recently saw the back, has a standard design. The phone has a really big camera module. It brings together three different cameras, one of which is a periscope.
The company has placed a Hasselblad logo under the camera module and continues its partnership with the camera manufacturer. Also, this model should be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 while the Pro should get the Gen 2.
